Shannon was born and raised in San Jose and studied English at St. Mary’s College of California. She spent more than 15 years in high schools and community colleges as a teacher and academic counselor. Today, she proudly calls Morgan Hill home, where she lives with her husband, their three energetic boys, and three equally spirited dogs. When her boys’ busy schedules allow a little breathing room, Shannon can be found tackling a new DIY project around the house or cooking up a hearty feast to keep her growing crew well-fed and well-loved.
