E. David Marks

David Marks is licensed as a real estate broker by the State of California. Joining Lazar Homes in 2023, David acts as a broker in the purchase and sale of property. He also serves as General Counsel.

For over 35 years, David, as a licensed attorney has been practicing law and specializing in real estate sale disputes, transactions, and construction law, working for several firms including GCA Law Partners, LLP and Miller, Starr & Regalia.

From these experiences, David learned a great deal of practical knowledge about real estate transactions and realized how happy it made him to help people buy and sell homes. As a broker with Lazar Homes, David utilizes his experiences to benefit our clients.

David continues to be involved with dispute resolution relating to real estate sales. Since 2015, he has been on the list of mediators for the California Association of Realtors. Since 2021, he has been on the Mediation and Arbitration panel for Construction, Real Estate, and Consumer matters.

David earned his J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco. He earned his B.A from Stanford University with Departmental Honors.

David’s passions include his family and cooking. He likes to serve food to his friends and family and to make them smile. He is also a Certified Barbeque Judge for the Kansas City Barbeque Society.
